Learn How to Increase Productivity With ‘Project Management’ Course at IBS

Project Management,” one of more than 20 pre-show courses offered before the start of the 2011 NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, will show attendees how to effectively manage workflow not only on the job site and in the office, but in life, according to 15-year veteran instructor Bill Asdal, CGP, CGR, GMB, of Asdal Builders, a remodeler and custom builder based in Chester, N.J.

“A good comprehension of project management allows the practitioner to begin thinking in what I call logic models for a construction workflow that goes from concept to completion,” said Asdal. “But it could also apply to how to make money, how to make your company work, how to have a good life, how to get more out of your day.”

“Every single one of these becomes a project, and once you have a comprehension of workflow in your being, your every action then starts to flow into a series of tasks that gets you closer to reaching your goals. Honest to goodness it works, you become a machine of productivity. A virtual R2D2.”

Those interested in reaching such levels of productivity can register for the Project Management course — held from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11 — at www.buildersshow.com.
