Bang & Olufsen is now launching the compact active speakers Beolab 8, which can be used as a standalone audio source or as part of a larger system in a home theater setup, such as with Beosound Theater.

The speakers feature a design with a solid aluminum body and are available with either wood lamellas or fabric fronts.

Beolab 8 incorporates three speaker elements, including a 16 mm tweeter, a 3″ midrange driver, and a 5.25″ woofer, allowing for sound direction control and dispersion within the room.

They also come with features like room compensation and dynamic sound adjustment. The speaker can be connected via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 and is compatible with Bang & Olufsen’s TV sets and audio systems.

The speakers also feature an interchangeable streaming module to ensure future usability. Beolab 8 starts at $2,749.
