photo

Creating value for home buyers is critical to a builder's success and one way to do that is by offering green home technology products that enhance their lifestyle and reduce their bottom line.

With green home technology, consumers can select from a wide range of lifestyle products to suit their personal desires, while at the same time understanding that their choices are good for the environment and their household maintenance costs.

The “Green Home Technology: Lifestyle Products That Cut Costs for the Consumer” webinar, sponsored by the NAHB Business Management and Information Technology Committee and the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), will highlight current trends in green home technology and how to help clients choose the right product mix and outline the benefits that come from builder-electronic systems contractor (ESC) partnerships.

Panelists include Dave Pedigo of CEDIA, which identifies emerging trends within home electronics; and Matt Belcher, CGP, of Belcher Homes in St. Louis, a green builder and developer and the author of "Build Green and Save: Protecting the Earth and Your Bottom Line," available from NAHB BuilderBooks.

The webinar, which is free to NAHB members, will be held from webinar from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, June 15.

Participants can earn one hour of continuing education credit toward their designations.
