Jeffrey Radowich | The seminar, featuring Jeffrey J. Radowich, a partner with the Venable law firm and an expert on taxation, trusts, estates and planned giving, will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9. Michael Graham, of Merrill Lynch and the financial advisor to NAHB and the endowment, will be the moderator.
The seminar will focus on planning techniques for business owners with real estate interests and cover such topics as creating liquidity, ensuring the financial future of the owner's family and more.
“This is a rare opportunity for our members to hear and interact with two experts in estate planning and financial management,” said Gary Garczynski, the chairman of the endowment and 2002 NAHB president. “As business owners consider how to insure the continuity of their legacy and the tax implications of leaving business to their heirs or employees, this seminar will provide invaluable information and contacts.”
