Baltimore Mayor Speaks at National Housing Center Luncheon Series

NAHB hosted Maryland gubernatorial candidate and Baltimore Mayor, Martin O’Malley at the National Housing Center as part of the Democratic Governor’s Association (DGA) Luncheon Series this past week.

The series is offered by the DGA periodically throughout the year as a way for the business community to have very informal conversations with both candidates and sitting governors alike.  By hosting this month’s luncheon, NAHB brought housing priorities to the forefront of the discussion and address.

Mayor O’Malley acknowledged home building’s impact on the economy and recognized the influence the industry has had in Maryland.  He updated the business representatives on the campaign for governor and DGA staff provided an in-depth analysis of the upcoming gubernatorial elections nationwide.
