EOC Scholarship Program Assists State & Local Education

2005 was a banner year for the Executive Officers Council as 195 scholarships were awarded through the newly created EOC Education Fund Scholarship Program. These scholarship dollars enabled EOs from 148 associations to attend NAHB sponsored education events throughout the year – including 28 attendees at the State & Local Government Affairs Conference in Phoenix, Ariz.!

The 2006 scholarship program will once again provide full and partial scholarships for executives officers to attend the:

  •  Legislative Conference/Spring Board of Directors Meeting
  •  EOC Seminar
  •  Fall Board of Directors Meeting
  •  State & Local Government Affairs Conference
  •  National Conference on Membership
  •  International Builders’ Show

A new 3 in 1 application is now available for EOs to apply for the first three events of the year. The newly condensed application allows EOs to apply for the Legislative Conference/Spring Board of Directors Meeting, EOC Seminar, and Fall Board of Directors Meeting at the same time!

Whether an EO intends to apply for one, two, or all three of these events, the application should be completed and returned to the EOC by Wednesday, March 15th.  Individual applications for each event will not be distributed. A second application for the State & Local Government Affairs Conference and the National Conference on Membership will be released later in the year.
