Ohio Attorney General Resigns; Replacement Appointed
Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann (D) resigned on May 14 amid a sexual harassment investigation and an admitted extramarital affair. The 46-year-old Dann had been threatened with impeachment proceedings before finally providing his formal resignation.

Govornor Ted Strickland (D) has appointed Nancy Rogers to serve until voters decide on a new attorney general on Nov. 4.  Rogers is a graduate of Yale Law School and served most recently as Dean of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
