Updates on Energy-Efficient Tax Credits

Updated information about new tax credits available to home owners for the installation of energy-efficient heating and air conditioning systems, windows and doors and new insulation is available in a new, downloadable fact sheet.

More detailed information on all of the products that qualify for the tax credit is available at www.nahb.org/efficiencytaxcredit from the NAHB Remodelers.

These facts correct the information originally available on the Energy Star Web site and add new details, while encouraging home owners to contact NAHB Remodelers for expert advice. Add your HBA logo and share this new marketing flyer with your members.

The 30% tax credits can help invigorate demand for remodeling projects in many parts of the country. If your members are finding success by encouraging their customers to use these credits, let us know so we can get the word out about how they did it.

Contact Kelly Mack, NAHB Remodelers Communications Manager, at 800-368-5242 x8451 or kmack@nahb.com.
