NAHB to Pilot a New Home Integration Course at Custom Builder Symposium/Design Institute
Sponsored by the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), NAHB is developing a new one-day course titled, Home Technology Integration.
Created in partnership with the Institute of Residential Marketing, this course is intended for developers, architects, builders, designers, remodelers, electronic systems contractors and those involved in new and existing home marketing and sales. The course will provide a general overview of home technology products, trends, resources, sales and marketing, and installation practices so that industry professionals can evaluate and profitably offer home technology design solutions that meet the needs and wants of today’s customers.
The Home Technology Integration course will be piloted on Nov. 5 at the Custom Builder Symposium/Design Institute in San Diego. Ric Johnson, the course Content Provider, will be the pilot instructor. The course is expected to be completed in December.
For more information about the course contact Jennifer Johnson, Director, Instructional Design & Distance Learning at jpjohnson@nahb.org or 800-368-5242 x8162.
