Message From HTA Sponsor Vice-Chair Matt Carter

I hope this message finds each of you well and enjoying the spring season.

This time of year is one of my favorites. For me, spring symbolizes re-birth, growth and the promise that exciting things lie ahead. It is with this emergent energy that I challenge us all to face the issues, large and small, that stand before us.

We have all felt the challenges that the economy has bestowed, whether they be in the workplace, our portfolio, or simply from reading the paper. However, those pangs, to me, just don’t seem quite as bad with spring looming large and opportunities on the rise.

Added to the enjoyment of this season is my serving as Home Technology Alliance (HTA) Sponsor Vice-Chair. It is an honor for me to be part of this precedent-setting partnership. 

As a CEDIA Member, I have watched the collaboration between our organizations flourish. What started as a mere concept is now a grounded endeavor and one that other organizations strive to emulate.

Cross-industry education and networking opportunities, benefiting the members of both associations, have been the cornerstones of this partnership’s success. Uniting CEDIA and NAHB resources has led to increases in profitability, the streamlining of processes, and a better understanding of the true value of successful collaboration.

I look forward to furthering this relationship and ensuring its continued growth in the future.
