Maintenance Chart for Homeowners
Checking a list twice isn't just a task for Mr. Claus. Maintaining all elements of your home — inside and out — is important for both you and you family as well as any future owners. Download this easy list from The National Home Maintenance Manual: The Complete Guide to Caring for Your Home and have a handy home-maintenance to-do list right at your fingertips! Remember, make sure to check with a certified professional or your local home builders association on tasks that are difficult or that you're uncertain on.
Important Note: Not included on this chart is the highly important task of maintaining smoke alarms. Regular maintenance of smoke alarms will ensure they continue to provide vital early warning fire protection for you and your family. Smoke alarms should be tested and gently cleaned monthly to remove dust and dirt from each unit. New batteries should be installed once a year or replaced according to the manufacturer's instructions.
