Property Management Professionals Gain Opportunity to Earn Education Credits At Multi-Housing World

Multifamily housing professionals who currently hold a Registered in Apartment Management (RAM) or Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation can now earn the continuing education credits they need to keep their designations current at the upcoming Multi-Housing World Conference.

“We are proud to partner with Multi-Housing World to offer these cutting-edge educational opportunities to the industry,” said John J. Piazza, Sr., chairman of NAHB’s Multifamily Board of Trustees and owner of Piazza Construction, Inc., in Mount Vernon, Wash. The Multi-Housing World conference and exposition will be held September 12-14, 2005, at the San Diego Convention Center.

NAHB Multifamily has identified the Multi-Housing World Conference as the “must-attend” event for property owners and managers seeking to recertify their designations. The conference will feature a host of educational sessions for multifamily managers, most of which are eligible for continuing education credits under the RAM and HCCP designations.

RAM is a comprehensive educational program for market rate, for-sale, and affordable property managers, owners and developers. It is the longest running and most respected designation of its kind and is considered the industry standard for an elite group recognized for its high degree of professional competence. RAM also is the preferred pre-requisite for other programs, including the Advanced RAM, National Affordable Housing Professional and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations. NAHB's HCCP designation has become the mark of distinction for apartment owners, developers, and managers of low-income housing tax credit properties, since its inception in 1997.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with NAHB and to be offering RAM and HCCP credits at Multi-Housing World,” say Tim Fearney, show director of Multi-Housing World. “This arrangement further enhances the world-class education delivered at the show.”

More information on the conference and exposition can be obtained via the show website or by calling 800-933/8735. To learn more about NAHB Multifamily’s RAM and HCCP designations, visit www.nahb.org/designations.
