Builders are encouraged to apply for NAHB’s new BEAM (Builders Engaging Associate Members) Award honoring the builder who best exemplifies the NAHB motto, “It’s good business to do business with a member." Applications are due Sept. 1.

The award will be presented by the Associate Members Committee during the 2012 NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando on Feb. 8-11.

Applications can be downloaded from the NAHB website and include an evaluation form that must be completed by the associate members named in the application. Up to 10 finalists will be selected by the Associate Members Committee, with the winner and finalists announced at the Builders’ Show. To download the application, click here.

Applications will then be sent to the appropriate state HBA for evaluation, which will then choose one representative nominee from their state by Sept. 30.
