The Official Online Weekly Newspaper of NAHB
While universal design is slowly gaining market acceptance, most of that acceptance focuses on aging-in-place rather than on "design for all."
The webinar “Reimagining Universal Design I — Ten Fresh Ideas for the Homes of Tomorrow,” presented by NAHB's 50+ Housing, will explore how builders and remodelers can enhance livability for all ages, ability levels and walks of life by including 10 basic universal design features in every home they build or renovate.
The webinar, the first in a three-part series on universal design, will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 27.
The other webinars in the series will be held on Aug. 3 and Aug. 10.
Participants can earn one hour of continuing education credit toward their designations.
