NAHB Remodelers Resources, Networking at the Remodeling Show in Chicago, Oct. 13-15

The 2011 Remodeling Show in Chicago on Oct. 13-15 will feature NAHB Remodelers courses on marketing, estimating, scheduling, business management, aging in place, risk management, PREP and networking that will help remodelers compete in a tough economic environment.

In addition, NAHB remodelers will staff a booth on the exhibit floor — #1608 — where they will share their experience and answer tough questions on how to compete and run a successful remodeling business.

Visitors to the booth can also learn about NAHB Education offerings, the 2012 NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, workforce development and training programs from the Home Builders Institute and the benefits of being a member of the NAHB Remodelers.

In addition, NAHB Remodelers will host a roundtable where staff members of local remodelers councils can network, share ideas and brainstorm — from 3:00-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Email remodel@nahb.org to register for the roundtable.

Attend the 2011 Remodelers Gala

Remodelers can also register for the 2011 NAHB Remodelers Gala, the annual black tie event showcasing NAHB Remodelers achievements for the year. The gala will be held from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, at the Art Institute of Chicago.

During the celebratory evening, NAHB Remodelers will acknowledge the 2011 CADRE recipients, National Remodeling Hall of Fame inductees, the NAHB Remodeler of the Year and the Homes for Life Award winners.
