The Official Online Weekly Newspaper of NAHB
The "Financing for Home Builders" webinar, sponsored by NAHB’s Housing Finance Committee, will examine the financing issues confronting home builders who are slowly climbing out of the housing recession but cannot secure the necessary cash flow to sustain their business.
The webinar will explore what acquisition, development and construction financing lending will look like in the new environment and how it will operate. Panelists also will discuss alternative sources of funding; how new rules and regulations will affect traditional lender-builder relationships; and how builders can help potential customers take advantage of new incentives.
The webinar, free to NAHB members, will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 20.
The program will examine:
- New financing environment — builder’s perspective on current and prospective conditions in residential acquisition, development and construction financing
- Community banks’ current and future role in residential AD&C financing
- Creative funding structures and alternative sources of funding
Participants can earn one hour of continuing education credit toward their designations.
