Progress Lighting Showcases 2011 Collection of Energy-Efficient CFL and LED Products

At Booth #W4259 at the NAHB International Builders’ Show next month in Orlando, Progress Lighting will be showcasing its 2011 collections of CFL and LED products, which represent superior quality and performance within the home at a variety of price points to meet the needs of home builders.

Among the green lighting products that will be on hand:

  • Trinity CFL — This popular collection is now available in CFL options, offering energy-efficient benefits with stylish features. Soft angles and a touch of metal in the Trinity collection are ideal for today’s understated interiors. For added versatility, etched glass shades can mount up or down.

  • Janos CFL — Delivering a minimalist urban style, Janos features simple — yet elegant — details, including soft etched tea-stained glass shades in an Antique Bronze finish or opal etched glass shades with a Brushed Nickel finish. Additionally, the collection's foyer fixtures and chandeliers feature curved arms that are held by a center ring.

  • P8022 — Selected as a 2010 IESNA Progress Report recipient, the P8022 is a surface mount LED downlight with light output and distribution that rivals that of a typical 65W BR30 incandescent but at only 13W of input power. Intended for use in both new construction and remodel installations, the P8022 is ideal for single-family and multifamily applications, such as utility and general illumination.

  • P8071-STR — Progress Lighting’s P8071-STR is an Energy Star-qualified recessed downlight and features a minimum 50,000-hour life at 70% lumen maintenance. Consuming significantly less power than a 65W BR30, it also offers sustainable benefits and dramatically reduces maintenance and service costs over incandescent sources.

  • LED Undercabinet — This can be used to create special mood or task lighting in niche areas, inside cabinets and under cabinets, shelves and toe spaces. Using two to five times less power than similar incandescent or fluorescent sources, the illumination lasts over 30,000 hours — more than 20 years under normal home usage. This product is an ideal solution for functional lighting with the long-life advantages of LEDs.

  • Pro-Optic Retrofit — To address the growing market potential for green retrofitting opportunities, this includes 6” and 8” horizontal and vertical downlights for light commercial and residential applications. Available with LED and CFL options, Pro-Optic Retrofit provides an easy, cost-effective way to replace inefficient fixtures with more energy-efficient lighting sources in existing spaces.
