Upcoming SHOWCASE to Examine Log Home Energy Code Compliance, Business Strategies

Builders, manufacturers and suppliers of the systems-built industry can make the connections critical to their future success during the 2010 SHOWCASE on Nov. 7-10 in New Orleans.

Executive Roundtable Industry Discussion

The Executive Roundtable is an open-format discussion on business strategies related to marketing, inventory, sustainability and other topics critical to the systems-built industry.

Moderated by Scott Stroud, of BuilderRadio.com, the participants will share tangible advice on resources and methods that lead to increased exposure and market share.

Log Homes and Energy Code Compliance — Panel Discussion

Stringent energy codes present special challenges for log homes builders and suppliers.

In this education break-out session, experts will discuss energy code compliance in the log home industry, the expected impact of the 2012 code cycle and methods to achieve energy-efficient log homes and obtain applicable credits.

Panelist Paul Peebles, of Your Home Energy Solutions, will draw on his experience as a HERS rater to discuss how log homes can meet code for energy performance.

Jeremy Bertrand, of Log Homes of America and chair of the Log Homes Council Construction Codes & Standards Committee, will moderate the discussion.
