Winners in the marketing categories of NAHB Multifamily’s 2010 Pillars of the Industry Awards will be announced during a free, virtual awards show webcast beginning at 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, Oct. 21.
The ceremony will features all of the elements that a live presentation offers, with a few extra perks — vivid project images, exciting animation, a live host and a pause-and-play format that makes attendance even more convenient.
Accessible world-wide and free of charge, the virtual presentation increases exposure for the winners and will be available year-round.
In addition, the winners in the builder categories will be announced at 2:00 p.m. EST on Dec. 7.
Both virtual ceremonies will be posted on the Pillars website, www.nahb.org/pillarsawards, at their respective times, along with login instructions to view the ceremonies.
The Pillars of the Industry Awards — which showcase future trends and innovation in the industry — honor superior achievement in apartment and condominium development, design, marketing and management and are recognized as the industry’s most prestigious awards program.
“NAHB is showcasing the achievement of multifamily projects and professionals in a fun, cost-effective way by bringing the Pillars Awards to our members virtually,” said Charles Brindell, Jr., CEO of Mill Creek Residential Trust, LLC and chair of NAHB’s Multifamily Leadership Board.
The Pillars competition attracted nearly 300 entries and included categories for multifamily rental and for-sale communities. A panel of judges with expertise in multifamily development and design selected finalists in 27 categories — including Multifamily Development Firm of the Year and Property Management Company of the Year.
Finalists, Multifamily members and industry professionals are encouraged to plan events and networking opportunities with colleagues and business partners around the virtual awards ceremonies.
