CGPs Can Earn Continuing Ed Credits at Greening Midwest Conference on Oct. 19-20

Certified Green Professionals can earn continuing education credits at the Greening Midwest Communities 2010 conference at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, Mo., on Oct. 19-20.

The conference includes 16 education sessions on such topics as green financing and appraisals, low impact development, geo-thermal systems design, residential indoor air quality, native plant selection and more.

The conference also includes a tour of a deep-energy rehab of a 1903 home to the National Green Building Standard.

Conference speakers include green building, retrofit, development and storm water management professionals.

The conference fee is $125 for Missouri home builders association members and $150 for non-members, but early bird registration discounts and discounts for attendees who use the services of the Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Center (MO SBTDC) are available.

The fee for members of any Missouri HBA who uses MO SBTDC services is $100. The fee for other MO SBTDC qualifying attendees is $125. Visit the MO SBTDC website for details.
