The Official Online Weekly Newspaper of NAHB
Two courses that lead to NAHB's Certified Active Adult Specialist in Housing (CAASH) designation — "Selling to the Active Adult" and "Marketing to the Active Adult" — will be offered on Oct. 18-19 in conjunction with the annual conference of the National Active Retirement Association (NARA) in Columbia, S.C.
"Selling to the Active Adult" will help attendees improve their sales success with the active adult home buyer by providing techniques that will enable them to communicate more effectively and qualify, handle objections and close sales with their potential buyers.
"Marketing to the Active Adult" will place special emphasis on Internet marketing strategies, as well as managing the experience of visitors/prospective residents of an active adult community.
Both courses will be taught by Jane Marie O'Connor, CAASH, of 55+ Professional Coaching and Training Services.
For more information, visit the website of the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia.
To register, call 803-256-6238, or visit the calendar page on the HBA's website to download the “Selling” and “Marketing” brochures and mail or fax the registration form to the HBA.
