The following NAHB 50+ Housing Council meetings, events and activities will be held duing the Fall NAHB Board of Directors Meeting at the Marriott Marquis in New York on Sept. 22-25. Council-specific activites will be held on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 23-24:

• 50+ Night Out
  7:00-9:30 p.m. EDT, Thursday, Sept. 23
  Sponsored by MetLife Home Loans
  
  The event will take place at Guantanamera, a restaurant that specializes in classic Cuban cuisine, Latin dance nights, live entertainment and hand-rolled cigars. Guantanamera is about a 10-minute walk from the New York Marirott Marquis and near the Theatre District in Midtown Manhattan.
  
  The evening includes:
  • Open bar — including specialty cocktails such as sangria and mojitos — spirits, wine and beer
  • Hors d’ oeuvres and reception stations featuring a mix of Cuban, Latin and Spanish cuisines
  • Complimentary cigars rolled onsite by the restaurant’s own cigar roller

Advance registration is $35 for council members and $45 for non-council members. Advanced reservations must be received by Friday, Sept. 17.

Registrations received after Sept. 17 will be charged the $55 on-site rate.

After the reception, members can dance in the restaurant’s main dining room, with live music beginning at 9:00 p.m. EDT.
