Each month, the award recognizes a remodeler’s strong business practices, community service and industry involvement.

Winning remodelers are featured in Qualified Remodeler magazine and in Nation’s Building News. They also can promote the recognition in their local media and market their achievement to prospective clients.

To qualify for the award:

• Candidates must be NAHB Remodelers/local remodelers councils members.
• Local home builders associations and councils may nominate a member or members may nominate themselves.
• Candidates may submit an application for any month they choose. They will compete with peers across the country.
• NAHB will confer with the candidate's EO to confirm their qualifications before they are confirmed as a winner.
• All applications must be submitted electronically.
• The deadline is the 15th of each month.
• Winners must reapply to be considered for Remodeler of the Year.
