The Nationals Finalists Announced, Gold Winners to Be Named at IBS
NAHB’s National Sales and Marketing Council recently announced the finalists in the 2010 The Nationals — the National Sales and Marketing Awards, the largest and most prestigious competition for new-home sales and marketing professionals and communities.
The Nationals — which recognize innovation and excellence in 63 categories — honors the best in architectural achievement, product and community design, advertising and promotion, interior merchandising, Web site design, individual and team sales achievement and more.
The finalists were awarded with Silver Awards, and the winners in each category will be named The Nationals Gold Award winners during a ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Caesars Palace during the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
"The Nationals is the most prestigious awards of its kind, setting the benchmark for innovations in new home design, marketing and sales," said Sheri Jackson, chairperson of The Nationals competition. "NAHB's commitment to recognizing originality, imagination and success has been exemplified by its award winners since its inception in 1982."
During the ceremony, NAHB’s sales and marketing council will also honor the newest “Legends of Residential Marketing” — Bert Selva, president and CEO of Shea Homes; and Bob Schultz, IRM Fellow, MIRM, CSP, CAASH and president and CEO of Bob Schultz & The New Home Sales Specialists, for their professionalism and commitment to the industry and for the quality of their new-home marketing.
The awards ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by dinner and networking beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The Nationals finalists were selected during a two-day judging process. A panel of six industry professionals from across the country selected this year’s Silver and Gold winners from a field of more than 700 entries.
