DuPont Features Roof Lining, New Color Surfaces
A new roofing product, sustainably sourced colors for quartz kitchen surfaces and new colors for textured Corian countertops will be featured by DuPont at next month’s International Builders’ Show in Booth C3311.
Among the products:
-
DuPont Building Innovations has launched DuPont RoofLiner, a lightweight, premium synthetic roofing underlayment scientifically engineered to provide excellent protection against leaks. It offers a Class A fire rating, a limited 30-year product warranty and enhanced durability and tear resistance.
RoofLiner is made with DuPont Elvaloy AC copolymer, which comes from the same family of DuPont polymers used in premium performance commercial roofing membranes.
This new product is engineered to be used with all types of roof coverings identified by ICC-ES AC 48, section 3.0, such as asphalt shingles, clay, concrete, fiber cement or metal tiles, slates, wood shakes, standing seam metal sheets and corrugated metal roofing. It has been approved for use under Florida building codes and is designed to be used on sloped (at least 2:12) residential and commercial roofs, new construction and re-roofing applications.
RoofLiner offers enhanced performance over roofing felt, including improved water hold-out and better resistance to mold growth.

-
DuPont’s Zodiaq Terra Collection of kitchen and bath surfacing now comes in licorice, wintergreen, coriander and flax using 25% post consumer recycled glass content.
In residential environments, DuPont Zodiaq can be used in a variety of applications, including kitchen and bathroom countertops, backsplashes, wet bars, fireplace surrounds, tub decks and tub and shower surrounds.
The product is nonporous and when properly cleaned does not promote the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria.
-
Inspired by the picturesque stratification of clouds and sky at dusk, the scenic intermingling of the hues of rolling farmland and the quaint pebbling of a sandy beach, the DuPont Corian Private Collection has added eight new hues — witch hazel, sandalwood, jasmine, saffron, elderberry, juniper, thyme and rosemary.
The collection’s natural palette of browns, rusts, greys, blues and greens was designed to help create environments that refresh, restore and recharge.
The new colors combine natural base tones with golden and bronze shaded veining, dotted with harmonizing particulates. Particle sizes and tonalities are intermingled to emit a sense of movement to catch the eye and restore the soul.
In residential environments, Corian solid surface material can be used in the variety of applications for which its Zodiaq Terra Collection is also appropriate.
