Get Free Videos on New, NAHB-Exclusive YouTube Channel

Free NAHB-produced videos on green building, monetizing the first-time home buyer tax credit and other home building topics now are available to NAHB members and home builders associations on the popular video sharing Web site YouTube.

The high-quality videos — which include industry and consumer information — can be used by members and HBAs to add fresh features, information and content to their own Web sites.

The vides are available at www.YouTube.com/NAHBTV.

Some of the videos featured on the NAHB page include:

  • HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan unveiling details on monetizing the tax credit at the NAHB Spring Board of Directors Meeting in May

  • Instructions on how to get started with NAHB's green building program

  • Answers to frequently-asked-questions about the first-time home buyer tax credit — which has had more than 47,000 views to date

  • Information on building modular and concrete homes from NAHB's Building Systems Council

To post videos from the NAHB YouTube page to member and HBA Web sites, first choose the specific video to feature. To the right of the video there is an address that follows the word "Embed."

Then copy that text and or have a webmaster or Web site administrator include it in the HTML code of the member of HBA site.

Members, HBAs and consumers can also subscribe to the NAHB page on YouTube, which will provide updates when new videos are added.

For more information, e-mail NAHB Public Affairs, or call 800-368-5242 x8447.
