Remodeling Courses Focus on Business Practices, Lead Paint
NAHB Remodelers is sponsoring 16 educational sessions at the 2009 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas that will provide tips on how to improve business practices, estimating and scheduling; understanding the Environmental Protection Agency’s new lead paint rule; green remodeling; an assessment of the remodeling market, and more.

- Partnering for Successful Aging-In-Place Remodeling: AARP, NAHB and AOTA

Representatives from AARP, NAHB and AOTA (The American Occupational Therapy Association) will discuss the increasing desire and demand for accessible living to age in place and the resources each organization has to meet this need. The unique partnering arrangement between builders, remodelers and occupational therapists will be explored as it relates to outcomes for the aging-in-place client.

This session will show remodelers the benefits of offering multiple payment options including cash, credit card and financing and will examine how to finance customers of every credit quality.
