Historic American Molding Collection Available at Lowe’s

Taking inspiration from the landmark homes of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which span various periods of history and geography, Lowe’s has created its EverTrue brand collection of historic mouldings.
The authentic, one-of-a-kind American designs from the trust are styled to enrich any room in a home and fit a wide variety of home décor. The collection is now available exclusively at 150 Lowe’s stores and by special order nationwide.
Each collection includes crown, chair, casing and base moulding. Six styles are featured:
- Grand Estate of the Federal Era, inspired by Woodlawn in Alexandria, Va.
- Historic American Plantation, inspired by Belle Grove Plantation in Middletown, Va.
- Classical Presidential Residence, inspired by the Woodrow Wilson House in Washington, D.C.
- Country Estate, inspired by Chesterwood in Stockbridge, Mass.
- Southern Plantation, inspired by Shadows-on-the-Teche in New Iberia, La.
- Italianate Mansion, inspired by Villa Finale in San Antonio, Texas
“This is a great way for any home owner to update a room with confidence,” says Miriam Lenett, director of business development for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. “These classic designs, inspired by the past, have been updated for today’s home and can be mixed and matched to create many different looks.”
The mouldings are produced and distributed exclusively by The Empire Company of Zeeland, Mich. The company provides high-quality mouldings and other millwork products to Lowe’s.
This marks the second exclusive National Trust for Historic Preservation product at Lowe’s. Introduced earlier, Valspar paint offers 250 documented historic paint colors from landmarks across the country.
Over the past three years, Lowe’s has contributed $3 million in grants to the National Trust for Historic Preservation to support preservation and restoration projects. The home improvement store contributed $1 million this year to help restore 17 Rosenwald Schools in 10 states. In addition, Lowe’s partnership with the trust has helped preserve historic sites such as the Ellis Island Ferry Building, the Harriet Tubman Home, Count Basie Theatre and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse.
Founded in 1946 and based in Mooresville, N.C., Lowe’s is the second-largest home improvement retailer in the world and a member of the National Council of the Housing Industry — The Leading Suppliers of NAHB.
