July 23 Webcast Looks at Storm Water Rules for Housing
The Environmental Protection Agency is presenting a free two-hour webcast July 23 to help builders and developers comply with storm water management rules and regulations.
Builders can discover why storm water compliance is a significant problem, and have an opportunity to discuss the laws, requirements, regulations and permits that shape the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program.
This interactive webcast is targeted to builders and developers with little experience dealing with storm water compliance or those who need to review the basic elements of the NPDES program. The webcast will also include a light-hearted quiz to test builder knowledge, and there will be time for questions from the audience.
The speakers include Nikos Singelis from the EPA’s Stormwater Program, Thelma Murphy from EPA Region 1 and John Kosco from Tetra Tech.
The program is free and open to anyone.
Click here to register online to view the webcast from 12:00-2:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 23.
