Plan to Attend the Remodeling Show in Baltimore

NAHB Remodelers who want to learn about the latest technical skills and business practices should plan to attend the 2008 Remodeling Show, Sept. 10-12, in Baltimore.

The NAHB Remodelers will host numerous events, pre-show education, an onsite booth and more.

NAHB Remodelers events at the show include:

Tuesday, Sept. 9

• NAHB Remodelers Local Council Workshop
  1:00-5:00 p.m.
  Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel
  
  This free workshop is for staff and leaders of local NAHB Remodelers councils and will address how to increase membership through special recruitment campaigns, throwing not-to-be-missed meetings and branding.
  
  Register in advance before Sept. 2. To register, e-mail remodel@nahb.com.
  
  
• NAHB Remodelers Graduation Reception
  5:30-8:30 p.m.
  Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, ballroom
  
  The graduation reception is open to all Certified Graduate Remodelers (CGRs), Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS) and Graduate Master Remodelers (GRMs). The event is free for all CGRs, CAPS and GMRs and includes one guest with advance registration. (Without advance registration, a $20 fee will be charged at the door.)
  
  All non-CGRs who have completed PREP may register for $40.
  
  All CGR, CAPS and GMR graduates planning to attend or participate in the recognition ceremony must fill out the RSVP form no later than Sept. 2.

Thursday, Sept. 11

• 2008 NAHB Remodelers Gala
  6:30-11:00 p.m.
  The American Visionary Art Museum, James Rouse Visionary Center
  
  The gala festivities will honor the 2008 Class of the National Remodeling Hall of Fame, 2008 CADRE Award winners, 2008 NAHB Remodeler of the Year and the Homes for Life Award winners.
  
  The fee is $85 for NAHB members and $95 for non-members.
