University of Housing Honors Five Designees of the Year

The NAHB University of Housing honored five industry professionals as the 2007 designees of the year for elevating the image of NAHB professional designations in their communities. They were honored during ceremonies at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando earlier this month.

William Slease, CAPS

Ann Garvey, CGA

Allen Griffin, CGR

Eric Willson, CGB

Donny Mack, GMB

“These five individuals are great examples of excellence in the housing industry,” said Daimon Doyle, president of Doyle Custom Homes in Olympia, Wash., and 2008 chair of the CGB Board of Governors. “They continue to strive for professionalism and incorporate innovative practices and techniques into their workplaces, which ultimately benefit their customers and shine a positive light on our industry. They are wonderful ambassadors for their enthusiastic promotion of both the importance of continuing education and designations, which will ensure the continued success of our industry.”

Those named designees of the year included:

  • 2007 Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) of the Year William Slease
