Enter Green Building Awards, Applications Due Jan. 31
Entries are now being accepted for the 2008 NAHB National Green Building Awards. Award applications, which must be submitted online, are due Thursday, Jan. 31.
The awards recognize individuals, companies and organizations for excellence in residential green design and construction practices and for green building program and advocacy efforts.
Honoring achievements in green building, the NAHB National Green Building Awards will be presented at a gala dinner during the NAHB National Green Building Conference, which will take place in New Orleans on May 11-13.
Award categories include:
- Green Building Program of the Year
- Advocate of the Year
- Outstanding Green Marketing Program
- Green Project of the Year — Single Family
- Green Project of the Year — Multifamily
- Green Project of the Year — Development
- Green Project of the Year — Remodeling
The awards are limited to NAHB members. The online application includes instructions for including photographs and other graphics. For specific category applications, click here.
The NAHB National Green Building Conference is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2008. Attendance at the annual event is expected to be nearly double the previous 1,100 record, which was set this year in St. Louis.
