HBA Challenge/Build/Grow Proposals — Deadline April 21
 The deadline for state and local associations to apply for Challenge/Build/Grow matching funds of up to $5,000 has been extened to Monday, April 23.
The National Housing Endowment, which administers the program, is seeking proposals from HBAs on programs that support local initiatives on:
- Education
- Land use
- Labor shortage/worker training
- Programs that help build new partnerships at the state and local level
Since the program was launched in 2001, more than $150,000 has been awarded to local and state associations. HBAs are encouraged to find opportunities for new partnerships in their communities to assist local programs targeting issues of importance to the industry.

Proposals can be e-mailed to the endowment at nhe@nahb.com.
HBAs requesting grants are encouraged to seek advice on their proposals from endowment staff well in advance of the deadline.
