International Awards Open to U.S. Industry Professionals

Members of NAHB have the opportunity to compete for the International Property Awards, which are now entering into their 13th year.

The awards aim to identify and reward the highest levels of achievement in a range of fields throughout the residential property industry. The awards have been called the Oscars of the property industry and they are global, with participation from no less than 45 countries in 2006.

Properties under development can be entered at any stage of construction, and companies are invited to submit any number of entries from 15 categories. The awards are open to developers, real estate agents, brokers, interior designers, promoters, architects and public relations and advertising agencies.

Judges are looking for clear and concise information, supported by good quality photography, graphics and marketing material.

The best entries are issued a four-star award, with a maximum of two in each category, and the most outstanding entry can receive a five-star award.

“Our media partners reach a high profile audience of property buyers and investors and their continued support of these awards helps raise the profile of winners on an international scale,” according to the organizers of the awards. “Award-winning companies are in a unique position to gain high-profile coverage through their local TV, radio and newspapers and a press release is issued directly after the presentation to enable each winner to maximize this potential.”

The deadline for entries from the Americas is April 30, and registration must be received at least two weeks prior to that date.
