NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces three weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is the latest lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Hanging Aquarium"

•  Oct. 27, 11:30 p.m. ET/PT
•  Oct. 28, 3:30 a.m.  ET/PT

Bring the beauty of live tropical fish to any space with a wall-mounted aquarium. A sleek stainless-steel grill is contained in a tube less than 12-inches long. Ultramodern floor and wall tiles are embedded with lights. Plus, fun new pet supplies, children's soap dispenser, a soda penguin and more.

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Front Step Revamp"

• Oct. 12, 5:00 p.m. ET/PT
• Oct. 14, 11:30 a.m. ET/PT

Dean and Derek are called in to revamp the front step of a 1950s Cape Cod home in Cohasset, Mass. To restore the front entrance, they remove an old, weather-worn, cracking and shifting slate platform. In its place, they build up the new platform and set bluestone with cobble risers. Dean and Derek explain the proper way to demo the existing step, how to design a field pattern and how to set bluestone for treads and field. The two also take us to a quarry for a lesson on how to pick bluestone and cobbles, based on color, size and function.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Modular (Part 1)"

• Oct. 11, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• Oct. 12, 2:30 a.m. ET/PT
• Oct. 15, noon ET/PT
• Oct. 17, 5:30 p.m. ET/PT

In this episode, meet two families who realize just how fantastic custom prefab homes can be. Watch as the Papadapoulos family considers prefab home options for their Virginia vineyard. Also, meet the Surratt family, who used prefab technology to create a one-of-a kind modular home. Then tour the Surratt home and learn about the many upgrades that are available to modular home buyers.
