NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces four weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is this week's lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Speedy Skates, Home Elevator"

•  June 21, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
•  June 22, 12:30 a.m. ET/PT
•  June 25, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT

New skates allow you to tackle rough terrain and go racing downhill. A residential elevator works on air pressure. An environmentally-friendly coffee table costs less to ship. Light up your sink with an attachment that adds blue light to the water stream.

"Dream Builders" on HGTV

Episode: "Modern Tree House"

•  June 25, 9:30 a.m. ET/PT

An architect builds a stunning, modern tree house that blends into the surroundings overlooking Washington, D.C.'s Rock Creek Park. A California home features all the latest energy saving technologies. A classic Williamsburg-style home features all the amenities of 21-century living. Tour the Arkansas home of President William Jefferson Clinton. Plus, is liquid siding right for your home?

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Stone Veneer Bar"

• June 24, Noon ET/PT
• June 25, 7:00 p.m. ET/PT

Using real stone veneer, Dean and Derek transform a plain bar island into a rustic seating area that adds interest and color to an otherwise boring area. The cousins shore the area with asphalt paper and metal lathe, demonstrate how to mix mud, then sort the stones to maximize ratio and color. Application of the veneer product is presented with mason tips along the way, including how to shape stone, control joint size and which tools to use for a professional final product.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "LV Home"

• June 21, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• June 22, 1:30 a.m. ET/PT
• June 25, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT

Jennifer Watson and Barry Bless tackle building a modern prefab home that is as unique as their artistic lifestyle. Meet architect Rocio Romero and discover why she decided to design for prefab. Visit a factory where the LV panels are made and join builders onsite as they construct this modern kit home.
