NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces four weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is this week's lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Golf Swing Computer"

•  June 7, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
•  June 8, 12:30 a.m. ET/PT
•  June 11, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT

A wristwatch-sized computer promises to help you improve your golf swing. New keyless technology allows you to program your house locks to respond to your fingerprint. And once you’re inside, get the most out of your electronic games with a video game and exercise machine combo.

"Dream Builders" on HGTV

Episode: "Washington Townhouse"

•  June 11, 9:30 a.m. ET/PT

A Washington neighborhood goes from forgotten to fabulous. A Tennessee couple builds a home with a 35-foot stone chimney that also serves as a climbing wall. A Maryland woman turns a tired farmhouse into a crowning achievement. Tour the historic Carroll Mansion in Baltimore. Today's linoleum is a luxurious and environmentally-friendly flooring option.

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Cobble Pavers"

• June 8, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
• June 9, 1:00 a.m. ET/PT
• June 10, Noon ET/PT
• June 11, 7:00 p.m. ET/PT

The stone guys, Dean and Derek, who have worked with many products on the market, are convinced that you can't install an attractive cobblestone project without hours of backbreaking work. Join them as they collaborate with Orlando, Fla.-based Cobble Systems and learn that you don't have to trade style for ease of labor. They use this system of cast cobblestones attached to a grid backing to complete a driveway project that is not only distinct, but durable and easy to install. They also show viewers how to level and prepare ground for driveways and patio installations and how to design creative and practical projects. In the end, do Dean and Derek find that these cobble systems are too good to be true?

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Deltec Round Kit Home (Part 2)"

• June 7, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• June 8, 1:30 a.m. ET/PT
• June 11, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT

Catch up with a Virginia build crew as they raise a round roof and wrap up the build. Also, find out how one North Carolina family made out custom-designing and general contracting their own Deltec home. Even when it's prefab, "doing-it-yourself" can be tougher than expected.

The NAHB Production Group is a full-service, self-contained, media production unit creating programming for cable television, broadcast television, non-profit, museum and corporate clients. Productions range from magazine format shows for general audiences to museum-installation videos for specialized use.
