NAHB-Produced Programs on HGTV & DIY This Week

The NAHB Production Group produces four weekly television shows on HGTV and DIY for consumers. The following is this week's lineup:

"I Want That" on HGTV

Episode: "Personalized Pop Art"

•  March 29, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
•  March 30, 1:00 a.m. ET/PT
•  April 2, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT

Turn any photo into a personalized piece of pop art. A cyclonic glass fireplace lights up any room. A model rocket contains a video camera in its nose cone. Other items include a toothbrush sanitizer, a guitar that teaches you to play and a humane way to catch and release unwelcome spiders.

"Dream Builders" on HGTV

Episode: "Virginia Family Fun House"

•  April 9, 10:30 a.m. ET/PT

In this episode, a Virginia family home includes a waterfall pool and racquetball court. An amazing home outside of Atlanta has underground rooms topped with a circular structure that mimics a tree. A Sarasota home features a moat/swimming pool, bridge and clock tower. The owners of an old cottage say you can still hear the ghost of a missing gold miner in their Breckenridge home. Owners of a home in California wine country turn to a master carpenter to create cabinets for their Asian-inspired home.

"Rock Solid" on DIY

Episode: "Adobe Planting Shed"

• March 28, 10:30 p.m. ET/PT
• March 29, 1:30 a.m. ET/PT
• April 2, 9:00 a.m. ET/PT

The stone guys, Dean and Derek, get back to the basics — earth, sun and water. With the help of adobe expert Lisa Morey, of Adobe Building Consultants, they create adobe bricks and adobe mortar. They then put them together to build an adobe wall that's part of a one-of-a-kind garden planting shed.

"Assembly Required" on DIY

Episode: "Architects Go Prefab"

• April 2, 2:00 p.m. ET/PT
• April 2, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
• April 2, 11:30 p.m. ET/PT

In this episode, New York City architects depart from tradition and use modular building to design a modern vacation retreat in the Catskills. Visit the modular factory that accommodates the unique design and go on site to see how it all comes together.
