For sale: 1910 home in Denver, beautifully renovated. Bride (not pictured) included. | In an innovative marketing approach, the owner of a beautiful renovated home built in 1910 in the West Washington Park neighborhood of Denver is selling her property on eBay and has thrown its furnishings and herself into the deal.
The “House With a Bride” seller, who is the daughter of a minister, is asking $600,000 for the almost 3,000-square-foot bungalow-style house and on the advice of her girlfriends is advertising herself as priceless. The sale is being offered as a non-binding transaction so that either party can back out if they get cold feet.
“I hope to find that special man, who wants to build a life with me and share this special home with me,” the seller writes on her Web site. “Ideally that man is between 40 and 60 years old, is well educated and well spoken, and has a professional career.”
To get a foot in the door, prospective buyers should also be spiritual, love to travel, be a good conversationalist, be open and kind, take pride in their appearance, like animals, and children from a previous marriage are okay.
The home has a detached single garage, oak floors, solid wood doors and trim, three bedrooms and three baths, a game room with bar, an exercise room, a large storage closet and workshop, a stainless steel kitchen, two fireplaces, a covered deck and hot tub and underground automatic sprinklers.
Furnishings include a pool table, a big screen television, a tanning bed, lawn tools and a power mower.
The prospective bride said that she decided to take the unique approach to finding a soul mate after dating services, blind dates and connections through her friends failed.
