June Remodelor™ of the Month

Erik Anderson, CGR, CAPS, CGB, GMB, of Anderson-Moore Builders in Winston Salem, N.C., was selected as the NAHB Remodelors™ Council’s June Remodelor™ of the Month. Anderson joined NAHB  and the Remodelors™ Council in 1998. He is a member of the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem.

“We try so hard to do the right thing for our customers, community, employees and industry,” said Anderson. “It’s great to know that we’re heading down the right path.”

Anderson has served in a variety of leadership roles, including as president of his home builders association as well as helping to lead many community projects.  The HBA of Winston Salem is involved in many area service projects, including Habitat for Humanity, Good Samaritan Industries, Ronald McDonald House, Brenners Children’s Hospital and others.

He has taken an active national role in the industry, including writing more than 20 articles for various publications throughout the country, including Nation’s Building News, where he is a regular contributor to the Small Builders & Remodelers section.

Anderson also was named a NARI Regional Contractor of the Year and a Quarterly Remodeler Top 500 Contractors.

Anderson was selected from candidates representing local Remodelors™ Councils in five states.

Who Will Be the Next Remodelor™ of the Month?

The Remodelor™ of the Month (this link is accessible to Remodelors™ Council members only) award program is underway. Don't miss your opportunity to be named the Remodelor™ of the Month.

The program groups local councils from different states into designated months. There are two “wild card” months that allow the council’s members-at-large to participate in the program. A winner will be chosen each month and that winner will then be automatically included in the nominations for the Remodelor™ of the Year award.

This is a great opportunity for local councils and members to get involved and submit their “best of the best” members to compete with other councils. The national Remodelors™ Council will send out press releases and highlight each winner in ReNews, the Remodelors™ Council e-newsletter.
