Additional Design Institute Conference Features
The conference will feature world-class speakers including: Daniel Nahabedian, formerly of The Irvine Development Company and John Laing Homes; Heather McCune, editor-in-chief of Professional Builder magazine; Cheri Meyn , president of The Genesis Group; and Howard Englander, president of The Englander Company.
The conference will include discussions about the latest in residential housing design trends; tours of award-winning homes and communities displaying cutting-edge architectural design; and opportunities to learn how to profitably apply these design ideas to the homes you build.
In addition, there will be educational sessions and tours, including:
- Approach design as a powerful team. An intensive, hands-on workshop about how to craft architecturally unique home designs as a team.
- Learn about design market trends. Case studies of successful projects that focus on the specific market segments for which the homes were created.
- Tour visionary neighborhoods. Tours are planned for Stapleton, a tapestry of homes, shops, offices, parks and schools in a walkable city; and the largest “built green” community of its kind in North America, Tallyn’s Reach.
