Information on Systems-Built Housing Featured at Builders’ Show
With the popularity of concrete, log, modular and panelized home building steadily on the rise, the upcoming International Builders’ Show in Orlando will provide a wealth of information about systems-built housing.
On the parking lot outside the Orange County Convention Center, convention-goers will have the opportunity to tour the NextGen Demonstration Home and PATH's (Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing) Tutorial Townhouses, both of which have been constructed with systems-built features. (Click here and click here for respective stories on these exhibits in this issue of NBN.)
Also relying on concrete building systems for its construction, the 2005 New American Home uses concrete masonry framing and features a Portland cement stucco finish and concrete roof tiles.
Inside the International Builders’ Show exhibit hall at Building Systems Councils booth W5079, BSC members will be available to answer questions about the systems-built industry and how it can benefit builders and home building professionals.
