Nominate Officials, Associations for 2004 SLGA Recognition Awards
NAHB's State & Local Government Affairs Department is accepting applications for the 14th annual SLGA Recognition Awards Program. The program honors elected or public officials who have gone to bat for the home building industry. It also honors state and local home builders associations that have undertaken a particularly innovative or successful government affairs initiative.
Entries will be accepted until Nov. 12
Nominations can be made in several categories, including:
- State Official of the Year
- Local Official of the Year
- Government Affairs Program Achievement — State Association
- Government Affairs Program Achievement — Local Association
- Smart Growth Program Achievement
Nominations will be judged by a panel made up of SLGA Committee members, executive officers and government affairs professionals from state and local associations.
Honorees will be recognized at a special awards breakfast held in conjunction with the 2005 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, FL.
