Rural Housing Service Has Funding for Demonstration Program

The Rural Housing Service announced in the April 6 edition of the Federal Register that $2 million has been set aside for the FY 2004 Rural Housing Demonstration Program.

According to the announcement, this program provides loans to "low-income borrowers to purchase innovative housing units and systems that do not meet existing published standards, rules, regulations and policies."

All interested parties must make a written request for a proposal package to the state director in the state in which the proposal will be submitted.
