Pillars of the Industry Awards Recognize Achievement in Multifamily Housing

In recognition of excellence in multifamily development, design, marketing and management, NAHB last week announced the winners of the 2003 Pillars of the Industry Awards.

Presented during NAHB Multifamily’s Pillars of the Industry Conference in Palm Springs, CA, the awards honored superior achievement in 28 categories, including the Freddie Mac Multifamily Development Firm of the Year, Property Management Company of the Year and Project of the Year.

“It is heartening to see the depth and breadth of talent in the multifamily industry,” said J. Ronald Terwilliger, chair of NAHB’s Multifamily Leadership Board. “These are people who strive for excellence — and achieve it.” Hundreds of entries were received for this year’s awards program.
