New NAHB Course Addresses Insurance Liability Concerns

In a recent NAHB survey of critical builder concerns, three of the top 10 were related to liability insurance: cost was the top concern, availability of insurance was in second place and deductibles were fourth.

At a time when liability coverage for builders is less available and more expensive and coverage is more restrictive, NAHB has developed a new course addressing comprehensive risk management strategies that will help builders stay in business.

“Risk Management/Insurance for Building Professionals” is designed to help builders, developers and remodelers avoid, minimize and transfer risks and, where possible, buy insurance and make insurance claims.

This one-day course, which is approved for Graduate Master Builder (GMB) designation credit, covers the following topics:
