Northern Kentucky Remodelers Provide Holiday Cheer
In the spirit of the holiday season, the remodelers of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky earlier this month built a handicapped ramp at the home of a wheelchair-bound girl in Boone County.
The association had received a written request for assistance from the girl’s mother.
Remodeleers Bob Piccola and Marty Grosser spearheaded the project. Patricipants included Piccola Construction, Grosser & Co., Corbin Custom Builders, Bill’s Remodeling & Electric and F-A Construction. Pilot Lumber provided materials at a discount.
Remodelers in the Northern Kentucky association have initiated and participated in numerous community service projects over the years, including renovation of the Covington headquarters building of the Northern Kentucky Association for the Disabled, new restroom facilities at the New Perceptions Center in Edgewood and completion of a home remodeling project for a deployed soldier’s family in Verona.
