Building Systems Councils Breaks Its Own Record in BUILD-PAC Fundraising

For the second consecutive year, the Building Systems Councils (BSC) set a record for a single day’s fundraising for BUILD-PAC, NAHB’s political action committee.

During its SHOWCASE 2003 in Hot Springs, VA, earlier this month, the councils raised $75,000, beating its previous record — which was set at last year’s SHOWCASE — by $10,000.

Roger Lyons, a BUILD-PAC trustee and BSC member, played a central role in recruiting new donors and encouraging other BSC members to renew their previous commitments.

During this year’s SHOWCASE, Lyons was presented with the S.A. Walters Award for a lifetime of service to the systems-build industry.
