“For example, wind can drive rain behind building materials like vinyl siding, shingles or behind windows and under doors.
“In areas where water can collect and pool, especially below grade, water will pressure even the toughest materials into letting go. Eventually, the pressure of the water will be too much, and water will force itself into any cracks and pores of unprotected areas.”
