Dec. 14: Free Webinar on the Benefits of High-Performance Windows in Residential Building

The U.S. Department of Energy and NAHB will host a joint webinar on Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET, on the benefits of high-performance windows and the DOE’s High Performance Windows Volume Purchase Program.

Webinar panelists include: Don Ferrier, president of Ferrier Builders, Inc. and Ferrier Custom Homes; Terry Mapes, engineer and program manager of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory; and Walt Zalis, market transformation lead at Energetics Incorporated .

During the presentation, panelists will:

  • Provide participants with a better understanding of the DOE’s High Performance Windows Volume Purchase Program

  • Discuss the energy and cost saving benefits of high-performance windows — R-5 and low-E storm windows — for residential buildings

  • Offer a perspective on the program from an NAHB home builder

  • Guide users on how to purchase windows through the program
